2008 Resolutions & Exciting Events

Happy New Year!

Ok, my resolutions may come a bit late... but better late then never. I decided to list down my resolutions on my blog this year so that I am more motivated to fulfil it =)

.

First, the resolutions that have stayed on my list year after year.....

.

1) Slim down (at least by 3 kg?).... or maybe just to keep fit

.

If Roger sees this, he is going to laugh. Cos I never express any interest to slim down whenever he brings up this topic. So here I am, finally admitting that there is a need to do so now, cos I realised my face is getting rounder and rounder. That is a bad sign..... sob**

.

2) Save up money

.

Sometimes I wonder where all my money gone to.... Did I buy that many clothes, shoes and bags? I do not think I spend a lot on food? Well, blame it on the CPF education loan etc.... which takes away a significant amount of my salary monthly. Anyway, will try to 省省省 this year！

.

3) Tidy up room (at least for CNY)

.

Things in my room are piling up like a mountain again. But the amazing thing is i can always find the things I want amidst the messiness. 这叫乱中有序，乃最高境界也！Anyway, it still feels good to see my room in a nice state once in a while. so yeah, i am going to tidy up by CNY.

.

4) Cooking?? Hmm...

.

New Resolutions

.

1) Join Toastmasters

.

Brush up my english communication and public speaking skills

.

2) Join 3T class - an enrichment class in my fotang

.

3) Learn a new skill eg. photoshop, swimming, sewing clothes

.

4) Start a business?? Maybe something small scale first

.

Exciting events!!!

.

1) I'm moving house this year (my current flat is in the enbloc program). Imagine me moving house for the first time in my life. Dunno how it is like.... think i will cry my heart out. Afterall, this is where i spend the whole of my 23 years and it contains so much of my memories.

.

The new place is definitely smaller in terms of size, compared to the current flat but it has a fantastic location - Bedok Interchange! I will be able to enjoy my fav Mr Bean Pearly Soya Milk everyday! And the MRT is just 5 mins away. 爽！

.

2) Roger will finally be back in Singapore this Feb! He was away to US since last June. I am countdowning right now to the day he is back....

.

To be frank, I thought it is quite hard to pull through such a long period of time initially. But time just flies and he has been very sweet all this while- he tries to make it a point to chat/skype with me online almost everyday =)

.

3) 2 weddings to attend: tay and a fotang friend. Congrats to them!!

.

4) Ok, this is something i guess. Someone may pop the question....
